After 2 years of implementing Resolution No. 19-NQ/TU, the health sector has achieved many important results, the rate of women receiving prenatal check-ups at medical facilities or with the support of medical staff has met the Resolution's target; the rate of underweight malnourished children has improved, contributing to the effective implementation of Resolution No. 20-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Central Executive Committee on strengthening the protection, care and improvement of people's health in the new situation; the work of protecting and caring for people's health in ethnic minority and mountainous areas has had many positive changes, preventive medicine work has been well implemented, a number of infectious and dangerous diseases have decreased significantly, malaria prevention and control work has been actively and effectively implemented, and all health and population programs have met the assigned plan targets. In 2022, from the project "Investment in building and developing the grassroots health service delivery system" using World Bank capital, the Department of Health organized training courses for grassroots health care with 504 cadres and civil servants participating in training, training and fostering, of which 202 were ethnic minority cadres and civil servants; at the same time, training was provided for 234 village health workers or people assigned to perform the functions of village health workers.
