In Duc Co district, the Working Group inspected the organization, implementation of the investigation and propaganda work in the locality. Duc Co district selected 2 communes for monitoring. The Group listened to reports on the organization and implementation of the investigation, collected information on the socio-economic situation of 53 ethnic minorities in 2024 in Duc Co district, and the difficulties of the locality in the first days of the investigation.
Duc Co border district has more than 80,000 people, of which Gia Rai ethnic minority people account for more than 46% of the population. The district has 1 extremely disadvantaged commune, 45 ethnic minority villages and 29 extremely disadvantaged hamlets and villages.
Duc Co district has a total of 34 areas conducting Household Voucher surveys, 9 communes conducting Commune Voucher surveys, according to Decision No. 861/QD-TTg.
In order for people to clearly understand the purpose, meaning and importance of the survey, and to provide complete, accurate and timely information, the District Statistics Office has contracted with the Duc Co District Culture, Sports and Communication Center to broadcast the Trailer on the district's radio and loudspeakers to 9 communes; printed banners to hang at the headquarters of the Statistics Office and at 34 survey areas; worked with the People's Committees of the communes to broadcast questions and answers about the survey, especially at the survey areas.
From June 1 to 20, communes organized and implemented the work of making household lists in the field. At the end of the work of making lists in the whole district, 34 survey areas had completed the work of making household lists. The work of making household lists in the areas was carried out seriously, strictly following the process of determining permanent residents in households, numbering houses in the correct order according to reality, ensuring that all surveyed households were correctly and completely established according to the boundaries of the survey areas.
On this occasion, the working delegation interviewed surveyed households in Sung Le Tung village, Ia Kla commune and Tung village, Ia Nan commune.
Also on the same day, the Working Group had a working session in Mang Yang district. After listening to the report on the organization and implementation of the Survey, collecting information on the socio-economic situation of 53 ethnic minorities in 2024 in Mang Yang district and attending interviews with surveyed households in Roh village, Lo Pang commune.
Through the actual inspection of information collection at households, it was found that the investigators had a good grasp of the area, were able to approach households well, and conducted interviews according to procedures... The delegation held a meeting to review experience in organization, implementation, investigation techniques, reporting inspection results, and field supervision, promptly guiding investigators to handle arising errors, to ensure that the collected information achieved high results.
