Supervisory Delegation 1572 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee worked with Thuan Bac and Ninh Hai District Party Committees

On October 17, Supervisory Delegation 1572 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee led by Comrade Tran Minh Luc, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, had a working session with Thuan Bac District Party Committee on leadership and direction of the implementation of Resolution No. 06-NQ/TU dated October 12, 2021 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on continuing to promote the development of high-tech agriculture (CNC) in the period of 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030. The delegation was joined by Comrade Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Implementing Resolution No. 06-NQ/TU, the Party Committee and the government of Thuan Bac district have promptly concretized the document, focused on leadership, direction, organization, dissemination and dissemination of the contents of the resolution seriously and effectively. The application of scientific and technological advances in agricultural production has been paid attention to and focused on, initially forming models with high economic efficiency such as: Growing hydroponic vegetables in greenhouses, growing fruit trees according to VietGap standards, building 3 fields to produce high-quality commercial rice applying integrated pest management processes; using biotechnology to develop livestock farming. Up to now, in the district, there are 2 effectively operating CNC agricultural projects and 1 CNC vegetable production area planned in Loi Hai commune on an area of 190 hectares, which is being focused on by the district to call for investment.

Speaking at the monitoring session, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged the achievements of Thuan Bac District Party Committee in implementing Resolution No. 06-NQ/TU; at the same time, he proposed to continue to strengthen propaganda work for cadres, party members and people about the meaning and importance of developing CNC agriculture. Re-evaluate the targets set out in Resolution No. 06-NQ/TU, thereby developing a specific solution plan and implementation roadmap; focus on researching and introducing local specific crop and livestock varieties into production, reducing the area of ineffective rice land, and planning to expand the irrigation area. Focus on reviewing, supplementing and perfecting policies and mechanisms, prioritizing resources for infrastructure investment to attract businesses to invest in developing CNC agriculture.

Speaking at the monitoring session, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Ninh Hai District Party Committee and People's Committee to continue to develop an implementation plan to ensure the targets set out in Resolution No. 06-NQ/TU. In particular, focusing on planning the appropriate use of agricultural land and aquaculture land; mobilizing and integrating capital sources from programs and policies to support farmers and businesses to stably build CNC agricultural production areas; encouraging and calling on economic sectors to participate in investment in production, promoting the development of advantageous agricultural - forestry - fishery products of the district. Improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management; focusing on solutions to improve the quality of human resources to serve the development of CNC agricultural applications. Strengthening propaganda and mobilization so that CNC agricultural applications become a movement and are increasingly widespread in the community.

Previously, the Delegation inspected the actual situation of agricultural production applying CNC at Canh Dong Viet Joint Stock Company, the hydroponic vegetable growing model in greenhouses of Mr. Vo Chi Cuong's household, Bac Phong commune (Thuan Bac) and Thai An General Agricultural Service Cooperative, Vinh Hai commune (Ninh Hai).
