Speaking at the Exhibition, Comrade Lo Van Phuong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, gave an overview of the socio-economic development, national defense and security of Dien Bien province after 70 years of liberation; the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024); and affirmed that the Dien Bien Phu Victory "famous in five continents, shaking the world" had made an important contribution to the Geneva Conference.

Within the framework of the Exhibition, the Delegation of Dien Bien province participated in a number of activities: Introducing the potential and strengths of Dien Bien province to promote trade and investment through the presentation of videos introducing Dien Bien, displaying leaflets and promotional documents; photo exhibition with the theme: "Dien Bien, cultural and tourism destination" to introduce the land and people of Dien Bien today, economic, cultural, social, defense and security activities, typical tourist attractions of Dien Bien province; displaying and introducing a number of local products (tea, coffee, macadamia ...). The exhibition area of Dien Bien province attracted the attention of many international visitors and overseas Vietnamese.
On the occasion of attending the Photo and Document Exhibition commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Geneva Agreement, the Delegation of Dien Bien province had a working session with the Permanent Delegation of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the United Nations, the World Trade Organization and other international organizations in Geneva.
