On September 27, the National Assembly Delegation of the province had a meeting with voters of Binh Lieu district before the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly. Attending the meeting were delegates: Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province; Most Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet, Vice Chairman of the Central Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Executive Board of the Quang Ninh Provincial Buddhist Sangha.

The 8th session of the 15th National Assembly is scheduled to open on October 21 and close on November 30, 2024. The session will consider and pass 16 laws and 2 resolutions; give opinions on 12 draft laws; consider and decide on socio-economic issues, state budget, supervision and a number of other important issues...
At the meeting, the National Assembly deputies informed voters about some introductory contents of the laws that the National Assembly commented on and expected to be passed at the Session; the results of handling and responding by central ministries and branches to petitions sent before the 7th Session.

Regarding the results of the response and recovery work for storm No. 3 in the province, comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, emphasized: Right from the time storm No. 3 formed and entered the East Sea, the direction of preparation, response and recovery work was directed by Quang Ninh province urgently, focusedly, proactively and responsibly in accordance with the motto "3 before, 4 on-site". Provincial and local leaders proactively organized working groups to inspect key points, sea routes and islands to direct storm prevention.
In particular, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation established a Working Group to directly inspect and direct the preparation and response work for storm No. 3 in the whole province. Immediately after the storm, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation developed a plan and conducted a survey on the implementation of legal policies in natural disaster prevention, rescue, search and rescue and environmental protection; visited and encouraged localities affected by storm No. 3. The Provincial National Assembly Delegation visited and encouraged 60 groups, 556 individuals and households with a total cost of over 3 billion VND.

He also requested the authorities and voters of Binh Lieu district to continue to seriously, fully and most effectively implement key tasks and solutions under the direction of the Central Government and the province; proactively follow closely and grasp the actual situation and specific progress of each task to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3; quickly stabilize life, production and business in the area.

In a democratic, frank and open atmosphere, voters of Binh Lieu district made recommendations to the National Assembly and competent authorities on a number of issues: Consider a number of special policies and mechanisms for professional soldiers; ensure religious security...
On behalf of the National Assembly deputies, Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, respectfully thanked the sentiments and trust of voters of Binh Lieu district for the National Assembly deputies. He also discussed and clarified a number of issues of concern to voters and made recommendations to central ministries, branches, and Party committees and authorities. He requested that departments, branches, and local leaders study solutions and focus on resolving issues that voters reflect and recommend within their authority. The opinions and recommendations of voters will be received by the Provincial National Assembly Delegation to synthesize and submit to the National Assembly and competent levels and branches for consideration and resolution.
