
Attending the incense offering ceremony were comrades: Do Van Chien, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Truong My Hoa, former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Vice President; Ha Thi Khiet, former Secretary of the Party Central Committee, former Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission; Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa, former President of the Vietnam Women's Union, President of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Children's Rights; Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam Women's Union, along with representatives of leaders and more than 600 women's union members from provinces across the country.

Joining the delegation, on the side of Dien Bien province, there were comrades: Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Lo Van Mung, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Pham Duc Toan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches.

At the Martyrs' Temple at Dien Bien Phu Battlefield and the martyrs' cemeteries, the delegation respectfully laid wreaths, offered incense, and respectfully expressed gratitude and remembrance to General Vo Nguyen Giap and the cadres, soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline laborers; the army and people who fought bravely and sacrificed to create the Dien Bien Phu victory. Before the heroic martyrs, the delegation respectfully hoped that the heroic martyrs would bless the nation, the people, the country of Vietnam would be everlasting and prosperous; the Vietnamese people would always be peaceful and happy; successfully carry out the renovation and construction of the socialist country of Vietnam; bless the women's movement and the Vietnam Women's Union to develop more and more strongly.

On this occasion, comrade Do Van Chien, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, former Party leaders, along with the delegation and leaders of Dien Bien province, planted a memorial tree in the grounds of the Martyrs' Temple at Dien Bien Phu Battlefield.


Next, President of the Vietnam Women's Union Ha Thi Nga and the delegation visited the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum and admired the Panorama painting recreating the Dien Bien Phu campaign.
