At the invitation of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, a delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam led by Comrade Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission, visited and worked in China from November 5-7.

On November 6, in Beijing, the delegation held talks with the delegation of the Communist Party of China led by Comrade Li Xi, member of the Politburo Standing Committee and Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China.

At the talks, the two sides highly appreciated the new positive developments in the relationship between the two parties and the two countries of Vietnam and China in recent times, especially after the historic visit to China by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong right after the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

Comrade Tran Cam Tu respectfully conveyed the greetings of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to General Secretary and President Xi Jinping, affirming that this visit of the delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam is to continue implementing the common perception of the General Secretaries of the two parties, and is a continuation of the high-level exchanges and contacts between the two parties and the two countries in recent times.

Comrade Tran Cam Tu emphasized that Vietnam always attaches importance to and gives top priority to developing relations with China; is ready to work with the Party and State of China to promote the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership to enter a new stage of development with higher political trust, more substantive defense and security cooperation, deeper substantive cooperation, a more solid social foundation, closer coordination at multilateral forums, and better control and resolution of disagreements on the basis of high-level common awareness and in accordance with international law.

Welcoming Comrade Tran Cam Tu and the delegation to visit China, Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of China Li Xi respectfully conveyed the warm regards of General Secretary and President Xi Jinping to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

The Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of China expressed that the visit will contribute to implementing the common perception between the senior leaders of the two parties and two countries, promoting the healthy and stable development of the relationship between the two parties and two countries in the coming time.

Comrade Ly Hy highly appreciated and congratulated the important achievements that the Vietnamese people have achieved in the cause of innovation and socialist construction under the leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, headed by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

Comrade Li Xi emphasized that the relationship between the two parties is an important foundation for the overall and strategic orientation of bilateral relations. The Party and State of China are willing to work with the Party and State of Vietnam to promote the traditional friendship between the two parties and the two countries to a new height, bringing cooperation in all fields to be increasingly effective and substantive.

The two sides also discussed in depth the directions for promoting relations between the two parties and countries, and agreed to increase regular exchanges and contacts at high and all levels; promote exchanges and cooperation in various fields; continue to consult each other on experiences in Party inspection, supervision and discipline work, anti-corruption work, institutional reform, inspection, discipline and supervision mechanisms, and improve the quality, mettle and prestige of the contingent of cadres working in Party inspection, supervision and discipline in both countries.

Comrade Tran Cam Tu proposed that the Chinese side continue to support and assist Vietnam in training and fostering cadres in the field of inspection, supervision and Party discipline on the basis of the Cooperation Plan between the two parties in the new period.

Previously, the Party delegation had meetings with leaders of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Municipal Party Committee, the Supervisory Commission of Beijing City, held talks with the Chinese Academy of Inspection and Supervision, and exchanged experiences in inspection, supervision, discipline, and anti-corruption and negativity work at the local level, and in the methods and content of training cadres in the Party inspection sector.
