Delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam attends the BRICS+ International Inter-Party Forum in Russia

At the invitation of the United Russia Party, the delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam led by Deputy Head of the Central External Relations Commission Nguyen Minh Tam attended a number of activities of the Forum and Conference.

From June 16-19 in Vladivostok, Russian Federation, within the framework of the program of Russia's BRICS Chairmanship Year 2024, the United Russia Party hosted the BRICS+ International Inter-Party Forum with the theme "Global Majority for a Multipolar World" and the Roundtable Conference on the sidelines of this Forum with the theme "The role of responsible political forces of Russia and ASEAN countries in ensuring the financial and economic security of sovereign states".

The forum was attended by about 150 delegates from 32 countries and political parties.

At the BRICS+ inter-party forum, representatives of political parties shared and discussed the current world situation, especially on indivisible security; building a multipolar, fairer and more equal world order; cooperation between countries in the fields of economics , trade and investment; the role of BRICS in the new world order and the expansion of BRICS.

Most delegates emphasized the importance of dialogue mechanisms in resolving disputes by peaceful means; enhancing connectivity and economic integration; enhancing political trust, and promoting joint efforts to address global challenges.

The forum also affirmed the role of developing countries, especially those in the Southern Hemisphere, when cooperating together will create strength to jointly solve international and regional issues.

Roundtable conference between political parties of Russia and some countries in ASEAN.

Attending the BRICS+ International Inter-Party Forum and the Roundtable Conference between political parties of Russia and some ASEAN countries were Chairman of the United Russia Party D. Medvedev and many officials of the United Russia Party.

Delegations from the Communist Party of Vietnam, Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Cambodian People's Party, Pheu Thai Party and Myanmar Union Solidarity and Development Party attended the Roundtable Conference.

The conference emphasized that financial and economic security is an important issue not only for Russia but also for Southeast Asian countries in the context of global fluctuations. Representatives of the parties shared their countries' experiences in responding to the financial crisis and restoring economic development, promoting economic, trade and investment cooperation between Russia and countries in the region.

At the invitation of the United Russia Party, the delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam led by Comrade Nguyen Minh Tam, Deputy Head of the Central External Relations Commission, attended a number of activities of the Forum and Conference.

The head of the delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam gave a speech at the Plenary Session of the Forum and Roundtable Conference, which was highly appreciated by the delegates.

On the sidelines of the Conference, the Party delegation had bilateral meetings with a number of parties to discuss bilateral cooperation and a number of international and regional issues of mutual concern.
