On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day July 27 (1947 - 2024), on July 13, the Central Inspection Commission delegation led by Party Central Committee member, Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission Tran Tien Hung organized a program to pay tribute to heroic martyrs in Quang Tri province. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission Ho Thi Thu Hang also participated.

Laying wreaths and offering incense to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at the National Martyrs' Cemeteries of Road 9 and Truong Son, the delegation was moved to express their deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who fought bravely and sacrificed on the legendary Truong Son fire line; on the Road 9 front, the Quang Tri battlefield and the land of Laos during the resistance war against the US.

Offering flowers and incense at Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, in a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegation of the Central Inspection Commission expressed their deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who devoted their youth, fought bravely and sacrificed their lives in the 81-day and night battle to protect Quang Tri Ancient Citadel in the fiery summer of 1972, creating momentum for the general offensive to liberate the nation and unify the country in 1975.
