In his welcoming speech, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan thanked the delegation for choosing Ninh Binh for field research. In recent years, Ninh Binh province has implemented synchronous solutions and achieved many important achievements. Highlights: From 2022 to present, Ninh Binh has become a province that balances its budget with regulation to the Central Government. In the first 9 months of 2024, Ninh Binh's economic growth rate ranked 15th in the country and 5th in the Red River Delta. After more than 30 years of re-establishment, Ninh Binh is developing strongly, becoming one of the 3 automobile assembly centers of the country; a center for tourism development of the region and the country, deeply integrating internationally; a large fruit and vegetable processing center of the country; a center for organizing regional events, a center for biosphere reserves, etc.
During the development process, Ninh Binh has drawn lessons from experience, which are: Correctly positioning and accurately identifying local values, to determine competitive advantages and promote development. When Ninh Binh was at risk of being stuck between growth zones, Ninh Binh chose the method of green, harmonious and sustainable growth in pursuit of the happiness index. At the meeting, the provincial leaders and the trainees of the Training Course discussed the outstanding results of Ninh Binh in implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. Delegates shared about the opportunities and challenges as well as solutions to address the relationship between preserving and promoting heritage values; the issue of developing cultural industries based on tourism products and cultural heritage; solving the problem of urbanization without annexing heritage; solutions to attract large, high-tech investors to avoid being stuck by growth poles, contributing to increasing budget revenue to ensure the realization of goals; the shift in labor structure, industry structure, especially vocational training orientation to serve the province's key economic sectors; the preparation of human resources, research cooperation to develop cultural industries, the cinema capital in Ninh Binh.
