On December 4, a delegation of international Protestant pastors led by Pastor Bob Roberts, President of the Institute for Global Engagement (IGE), USA, visited the Aquila Protestant meeting point (Quoc Oai, Hanoi).
Here, the delegation visited the Aquila Rescue Center (male center) and the Beritsin Rescue Center (female center). These are two facilities that help and care for drug addicts or people directly affected by other social issues.

At the meeting, Pastor Nam Quoc Trung, Co-pastor of Aquila Church, Director of Aquila & Priscilla Rescue Center shared the process of establishment and operation of the center. Since its establishment in 2009, the center has helped hundreds of people escape from drugs and reintegrate into the community.
Informing the delegation, Pastor Nam Quoc Trung said that there are currently about 140 Protestant drug rehabilitation centers in Vietnam. Churches are given favorable conditions to operate and develop according to the Constitution and laws, actively participate in social activities, and promote good cultural and ethical values.
During the exchange, the pastors had dinner and worshiped with the center's staff and students.
