Recently, the crew of the film “Southern Forest Land” revealed more images of Hao Khang transforming into the role of An - a journey full of effort for the 13-year-old child actor in the adventure of “a boy looking for his father”.

It is known that Hao Khang came to the movie “Dat rung phuong nam” to cast the role of Co. But with Hao Khang’s handsome and bright appearance, he was quite suitable for the role of An of director Nguyen Quang Dung: a boy who exudes urban charm along with the “street life” look after wandering. Therefore, the crew asked Hao Khang to continue casting the role of An.

Originally, besides his main performance, Hao Khang also participated in the role of An to support the casting of the roles of Xinh and Co. Perhaps from those moments, the young actor felt his connection with An, a student who wandered across the land and sky of the six provinces of Nam Ky to find his father and experienced a fierce period of the country's history.

An is a city boy who lost his parents while fleeing from the enemy, thus beginning a difficult but colorful adventure. It is An's intelligence and strong, brave personality that helped the urban student overcome many challenges, from escaping from the pursuit of traitors to a life of wandering, catching snakes or herding buffalo to make a living.

And it seems that those characteristics are also the bond that connects Hao Khang and An, when the child actor was evaluated by director Nguyen Quang Dung as "hardworking, dedicated, mature and understanding".

In the video clip introducing Hao Khang, the film crew of “Dat rung phuong nam” revealed more images showing Hao Khang’s acting as well as the child actor’s dedication. Even when injured, Hao Khang cried in pain but still insisted on continuing filming because he understood that a scene contained a lot of effort from the entire film crew.

The most notable scene is probably the one that follows the chaotic scene on the bridge in the First Look trailer, Hao Khang was thrown off the bridge and the boy himself performed this scene many times from different angles. After the risky scene, Hao Khang still maintained a comfortable and excited state, ready for the next challenges.

Actress Hong Anh, who plays An’s mother, also received much attention and support from the audience. Commenting on her “son”, Hong Anh praised: “An (Hao Khang) is very good, knows martial arts and he is very good at acting. Thinking back to the last scene of the mother and son still makes me tear up.”
