The works of the recent infrastructure maintenance and renovation project on Giai Phong Street include: replacing the median fence system with galvanized iron fences; replacing the traffic signs; re-drawing road lines to separate lanes. The total investment of the project is more than 12 billion VND...

In the iron fence replacement category, all old, damaged, blue-black fences have been replaced with new iron fences.

The Department of Transport Infrastructure Maintenance (investor) said that the new iron fence is made of steel tubular and is galvanized in white, 1.3 meters high. The new steel fence helps the fence to be rust-proof, clean, aesthetically pleasing, and especially does not need to be repainted every year like the old iron fence.

The traffic sign system on Giai Phong Street has long been the long-armed type, the traffic organization signs are small, difficult to see, difficult to observe, especially at night...

Now the project is replacing it with "double" pillars (extending to both sides) with larger, more solid bodies. Along with that, traffic organization and lane division signs are also larger and easier to observe.

At intersections or road ends, traffic organization and lane division signs are hung on gantry brackets.

The lanes are repainted.
