The Yen Bai Provincial Children's Forum 2023 is one of the meaningful activities, a place where children can express their opinions and aspirations, thereby demonstrating the commitment and responsibility of all levels, authorities, families and society towards child protection work.

On the morning of June 28, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Yen Bai Provincial Youth Union, and World Vision Vietnam jointly organized the 2023 Children's Forum with the theme "Children participate in building a safe, friendly, and healthy living environment for children".

The 2023 Children's Forum in Yen Bai province has the participation of leaders of departments, branches and sectors; teachers, leaders; 22 presenters and 130 children representing 254,000 children in the province - typical children from districts, towns, cities and the provincial social work and protection center.

Over the years, the work of protecting, caring for andeducating children has always received special attention from Party committees and authorities at all levels with practical and effective actions, creating a safe, friendly environment with equal opportunities for all children. Thanks to that, children have better promoted their right to participate in family, school and society; asserted themselves, become more confident, knowledgeable and proactive, actively participating in social activities and children's forums.

At the forum, children representing regions, areas and ethnic groups in the province discussed, brought cultural and intellectual identity, demonstrated children's responsibility in issues related to children's rights and duties; preventive and response measures to protect children from all forms of abuse and violence; prevent, combat and reduce injuries, drowning and traffic accidents; protect children in the online environment; combat child labor in violation of the law...

At the forum, leaders of departments, branches and organizations provided a lot of directional information and solutions to solve the problems that children are concerned about in the coming period to help them better understand the work of protecting, caring for and educating children, the rights and obligations of children as well as the efforts of all levels, branches, localities, agencies and schools in the province that have been implemented in the past time to promote the implementation of children's rights, educate children with skills; protect children from abuse, violence, and child trafficking...

As part of the series of activities of the Month of Action for Children 2023 with the theme "Joining hands to reduce harm to children", the Yen Bai Provincial Children's Forum 2023 is one of the meaningful activities, where children can express their opinions and aspirations to leaders at all levels and sectors on issues of concern to them. Thereby, demonstrating the commitment and responsibility of all levels, authorities, families and society towards child protection work; contributing to the implementation of goals on child protection and care; creating conditions for children to develop comprehensively and a safe and healthy living environment.

During the program, children gave messages and recommendations to the Provincial Steering Committee for Child Protection and Care. The Provincial Steering Committee for Child Protection and Care presented gifts to the teams participating in the forum.
