“This is a potential market where workers in general, and Vietnamese workers in particular, can seize the opportunity to work, study, acquire highly specialized skills and knowledge to improve and develop themselves, and have a high income in the future,” said the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

In that spirit, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung emphasized that the state management agencies of the two sides are always ready to accompany businesses, create the most favorable conditions possible for businesses of both sides to connect, cooperate and develop, minimize administrative procedures related to sending and receiving workers, in accordance with the actual situation and conditions of each side, contributing to the overall success of the economic cooperation relationship between the two countries.

Previously, in a bilateral meeting with UAE Minister of Human Resources Abdulrahman Abdulmannan Al-Awar, Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung presented an overview of the UAE's great demand for labor, while Vietnam has abundant human resources with many potentials and outstanding advantages. However, in recent times, the number of Vietnamese workers working in the UAE has not yet met the needs and potentials of both sides.

The Vietnamese Embassy in the UAE said that there are currently about 4,500 Vietnamese workers living and working in the UAE, mainly in construction, mechanics, restaurant and hotel services, beauty care... Of which, the number of people going through businesses providing services to send workers to work abroad is about 3,000.
