Business Forum - 30 years of pioneering, innovating and accompanying entrepreneurs and businesses

During the 30-year journey of accompanying entrepreneurs and businesses, Business Forum Magazine has always been a pioneer, creative, and a bridge to convey the voice of businesses and entrepreneurs to the Party, the State, and the Government, contributing to the economic development of the country.

On November 3, in Hanoi, the Business Forum Magazine under the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) celebrated its 30th anniversary (November 5, 1993 - November 5, 2023) and development.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the celebration program, journalist Nguyen Linh Anh - Deputy Editor-in-Chief in charge of the Business Forum Magazine said that 30 years ago, on November 5, 1993, the Business Forum newspaper was officially established. The 30-year journey of establishment and development of the Business Forum is also the period of formation and development of the Vietnamese business community and enterprises in the renovation period.

Over the past 30 years, the Business Forum has grown in all aspects, becoming a bridge of information between the Party, the State, VCCI and functional sectors with the business community, entrepreneurs and a large number of readers. The magazine has performed well its tasks: informing and propagating the Party's guidelines, policies, Resolutions, policies and laws of the State; activities of VCCI, the business community and Vietnamese entrepreneurs, becoming a place to convey useful information to guide the business community in developing production and business, improving the efficiency and competitiveness of enterprises.

The magazine has always been loyal to its motto, being the voice of the Vietnamese business community and entrepreneurs. During 30 years of development, Business Forum is proud to have become one of the leading newspapers on businesses and entrepreneurs.

Not only a companion, the Business Forum is also a bridge to bring business opinions to the authorities. The magazine has actively participated in law-making activities and improving the business environment. This is demonstrated through the implementation of a series of Forums and Workshops to collect opinions from businesses and entrepreneurs participating in the Draft Amendments to a number of important Laws such as the Law on Tax Administration, the Land Law, the Criminal Procedure Law, the Cyber Security Law, the Planning Law, the Draft Law on Special Economic Administrative Units... Each year, the Magazine builds from 15 to 25 Forums across all three regions: North - Central - South...

VCCI Chairman Pham Tan Cong assessed that the journey of the Business Forum Magazine in its 30-year history is also the period of formation and development of the Vietnamese business community and enterprises in the renovation period. On that journey, the magazine has always been a trusted companion, dedicated to the development of business people and enterprises.

In the coming period, implementing Resolution No. 41 of the Politburo on building and promoting the role of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in the new era, the Magazine needs to continue to innovate, perform well its role as the mouthpiece of VCCI and the voice of the business community and enterprises.

Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper Le Quoc Minh stated that the development process of the Business Forum Magazine with many publications and works shows the efforts of the entire leadership and staff, and reporters in the current difficult context.

At the same time, it should be noted that the press in general and the Vietnamese press in particular need to continue to promote the voice of the Party and State to the People and the business community; continue to maintain the role of a forum for businesses and the People towards the Party and the State.

"The orientations are pioneering in innovation and creativity; humanistic factors, we see these are very suitable paths for the Business Forum Magazine. The Vietnam Journalists Association will continue to accompany VCCI to propagate and promote more for businesses, businesses that do well and work effectively need to be honored. The Business Forum Magazine with the ability to connect with business people needs to build a complete data system about businesses in the coming time", Mr. Le Quoc Minh affirmed.

Believing that the development process of enterprises and entrepreneurs cannot be without the support of the press, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam - Deputy Minister of Information and Communications said that, in the process of formation and development, Business Forum Magazine has had many sharp and in-depth articles on the business life of Vietnamese enterprises and entrepreneurs, contributing many valuable opinions; is a bridge to convey the voice of enterprises and entrepreneurs to the Party, the State and the Government, contributing to the economic development of the country.

The magazine also actively participates in the process of consulting and criticizing economic, trade and investment policies, contributing to improving the business environment, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of businesses and entrepreneurs; as well as organizing meaningful programs such as the National Startup Program.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its establishment, the staff, reporters and editors of the Business Forum Magazine were honored to receive the emulation flag of VCCI; Certificate of Merit from the Central Propaganda Department; Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
