Diem Hang and Manh Quan reunite in the movie "Sao Kim shoots heart, Sao Hoa"

"Sao Kim shoots heart at Sao Hoa" tells an interesting and humorous story revolving around the married life of 3 couples: Dao (Minh Thu) - Quy (Quang Minh), Yen (Diem Hang) - Hao (Manh Quan), Trang (Bich Ngoc) - Nghiem (Tien Loc).

The three girls Dao, Yen, Trang came from the countryside and tried to survive in the city. Although "each tree has its own flower, each family has its own situation", they have one thing in common: their three marriages are all at risk of breaking up. Therefore, on the journey to preserve and protect family happiness, each individual needs to broaden their perspective, put themselves in the shoes of others to better understand the reality of life, as well as understand their own partner, and thereby perfect themselves.

Dao is smart and resourceful. From being an assistant in a hair salon, she was able to open her own nail salon. She married Quy, a simple and honest man, and had two daughters. However, their difficult life caused unfortunate cracks in their marriage.

Also living in the boarding house, Yen and Hao were close friends since childhood and developed into love. However, their marriage journey was more dramatic when Hao felt inferior to his wife, fell into a vice and had an affair.

Of the three girls, Trang’s life seems to be the most peaceful as she has a career as a teacher, is married to Nghiem, a police officer, has a stable economy, has her own house, and has no children. Although she is not worried about making a living, the relationship between the couple is not close as they get married because of compatibility, not necessarily because of love.

"Sao Kim shoots heart on Sao Hoa" marks the reunion of the famous "Nhat ky Vang Anh" actors - Diem Hang and Manh Quan. Before that, the two played lovers many times, and became husband and wife in the movie "Mom, where's dad?" in 2018.

Manh Quan shared that he had a great chance to act with Diem Hang and this reunion, both of them are more mature and have more memories.

"In the previous film project, Diem Hang pursued and followed me, but this film is the opposite. The character Yen is a wife who loves her husband but is domineering, bullies her husband, and always forces him to obey her. Hao also loves his wife but has to flatter her all day long. Over time, his self-esteem is damaged, causing a major change in their relationship," Manh Quan said.

Manh Quan and Diem Hang reunite in the TV series "Sao Kim ban tim sao huan" following "Nguoi mot nha" on VTV3 channel.

Meanwhile, Diem Hang also thanked Manh Quan because the two of them worked together many times. Returning to television after many years of absence, Diem Hang said that she lacked confidence in front of the camera because making films now is much different from before. But Manh Quan gave her a lot of advice. Along with that, the encouragement of the director also helped Diem Hang complete her role well.

According to editor Lai Phuong Thao, three marriages, with three separate problems, have painted diverse life colors, with adultery, secrets, financial pressure, pressure to succeed, the desire to buy a house, the desire to share, loneliness, the feeling of not being understood, wanting to give up, wanting to nurture, confusion and hope.

Sharing about the film, director Bui Quoc Viet said that the crew used the phrase "men are from Mars, women are from Venus" to suggest the differences between men and women. From there, the film brings a multi-dimensional and objective perspective of both genders, leading to the reality that differences are natural, and each person also has their own way of behaving when facing conflicts and incidents in life. "Sao Kim shoots the heart of Sao Hoa" does not paint a rosy picture of love and the future, but always has reasonable openings so that each person can look at the situation and draw lessons for themselves.
