On the morning of July 19, Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced the 2024 admission score forecast based on high school graduation exam scores.
The three majors expected to have the highest input are Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence with a score above 28. These are also the majors with the highest standard scores in recent years.
The majors with admission scores of 27-28 are Control Engineering - Automation, Digital Space Security, Information Technology (Vietnam - Japan, Global ICT, Vietnam - France).
The lowest benchmark based on the high school graduation exam results ranges from 20 to 22.75 points. The majors in this group are Environmental Engineering (EV1), Natural Resources and Environment Management (EV2), Materials Science and Engineering (MS-E3), and Textile Technology (TX1). The 2024 forecast for these majors has a slight increase compared to the 2023 forecast of 0.75 points.
Hanoi University of Science and Technology also predicts the benchmark score based on the thinking assessment test score:
Tuition for full-time students studying the standard program is about 24 - 30 million VND/year, an increase of 1 million VND compared to last year.
For ELITECH programs, tuition fees are 33 - 42 million VND/academic year, while Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (IT-E10) and Logistics and Supply Chain Management (EM-E14) programs have tuition fees of 64 - 67 million VND/academic year.
The English dual degree programs have a tuition fee of 45 million VND/academic year, including registration fee.
For international programs and international training partnerships with foreign partners, tuition fees range from 24-29 million VND/semester.
As for the Business Administration (TROY-BA) and Computer Science (TROY-IT) programs in cooperation with Troy University, there are 3 semesters in one academic year. Thus, the tuition fee is 87 million VND/academic year.
Hanoi University of Science and Technology said tuition fees may increase in the following years, but not more than 10%.
This year, the school will recruit 9,260 students through three methods, including talent selection (20% of total enrollment), based on thinking assessment test scores (30%), and high school graduation exam scores (50%).
