Relocate residents out of the industrial park before December 31, 2025

The People's Committee of Quang Tri province has just issued a decision to promulgate a number of detailed regulations on environmental protection in Quang Tri province (replacing Decision No. 03/2019/QD-UBND dated February 1, 2019 of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province on promulgating regulations on state management responsibilities for environmental protection in Quang Tri province).

In particular, the regulation on relocating residents living out of industrial clusters before December 31, 2025. The relocation of households out of industrial clusters is entitled to preferential policies and support on environmental protection according to the provisions of Articles 132 and 133 of Decree No. 08/2022/ND-CP, dated January 10, 2022 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Law on Environmental Protection and other relevant regulations.

Regulations on encouraging and organizing the implementation of socialization of investment in construction, business and operation of environmental protection infrastructure works in concentrated production, business and service areas and industrial clusters.

Encourage investors in industrial park and industrial cluster infrastructure to form joint ventures, associations, and cooperation to build, operate, and operate environmental protection infrastructure works in concentrated production, business, and service zones and industrial clusters in the direction of specializing in waste collection, transportation, and treatment activities.

Investment projects on environmental protection works in concentrated production, business and service areas and industrial clusters are entitled to incentives and support on environmental protection according to the provisions of Articles 132, 133, 134 of Decree No. 08/2022/ND-CP and other relevant regulations.
