All traffic lights at the Long Xuyen city bypass (An Giang) have been illuminated, helping traffic activities become safe and smooth.
On December 6, Mr. Nguyen The Vuong, Deputy Director of the consulting and supervision unit for the Long Xuyen bypass, said that the last traffic light on provincial road 943, at the intersection with the branch line of the Long Xuyen bypass, has been lit.

Up to now, all traffic lights on the Long Xuyen bypass (An Giang) have been put into operation, contributing to ensuring people's travel, as well as traffic flow in the area is convenient, smooth and safe.
Long Xuyen bypass route has four traffic lights installed, including: a traffic light at the beginning of the route (from Vam Cong bridge to National Highway 91), a second light at the intersection between the route and DT943 road, a third light at the end of the route (intersection with QL91) and a fourth light on DT943 road.
Mr. Vuong added: "Currently, relevant units are urgently completing documents and procedures to hand over the Long Xuyen bypass to Road Management Area IV according to regulations. The expected completion time is in December."

The investment project to build the route connecting QK91 and Long Xuyen City bypass passes through An Giang and Can Tho, with a length of 15.3km and an upgraded and renovated section of QL80 of about 2km. Of which, 800m is in Can Tho City and 16.5km is in An Giang.

The project has a scale of building a level 3 plain road, two lanes for motor vehicles, a road surface width of 11m and a design speed of 80km/h. The route has 18 bridges with drainage and lighting systems. The starting point of the project connects to the approach road to Vam Cong bridge, the end point connects to National Highway 91 in Binh Duc ward, Long Xuyen city.
The total investment of the project is 2,107 billion VND, using loans from the Asian Development Bank. The route was inaugurated and put into use on June 16, 2024.
