On the evening of March 10, Hanoi City Police announced that the Traffic Police Department (PC08) of Hanoi City Police had completed the dossier to propose administrative sanctions against Ms. LHT (36 years old, residing in Tay Ho District, Hanoi) for driving a car with alcohol concentration in her breath, as stipulated in Point a, Clause 10, Article 5, Decree 100.
Specifically, PC08 reported and proposed that the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee issue a decision to administratively fine Ms. T. 35 million VND, revoke her driver's license for 23 months and impound her vehicle for 7 days.
In addition, PC08 of Hanoi City Police also continues to clarify the cause and violation of Ms. T. in the traffic collision that occurred on Tran Cung Street on the night of March 5 to have appropriate handling according to the law.
Previously, at around 11pm on March 5, Ms. LHT drove a car with license plate 30H-119.XX on Tran Cung Street, heading towards Pham Van Dong. When arriving at the area opposite 38 Tran Cung (Cau Giay District, Hanoi), the car collided with a motorbike that was stopped close to the sidewalk.
After the collision, the two sides argued, causing a large crowd of curious people to gather. Many people recorded the video and spread it on social media platforms, claiming that Ms. T. claimed to be the niece of the leader of the Ministry of Public Security during the argument.
Having received the information, Traffic Police Team No. 6 (under the Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police) was present to resolve the matter. Upon inspection, Ms. T. violated the alcohol concentration level at 0.573 mg/l of breath.
Traffic Police Team No. 6 also verified her identity and determined that Ms. T. is a freelance worker, not a party member, and is not her niece or has any relationship with the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security as spread on social networks.
