The reference questions for the English subject of the high school graduation exam from 2025 are as follows:

2025 is the first year that the high school graduation exam will be held according to the 2018 General Education Program. Candidates will only take 4 subjects, including 2 compulsory subjects (Literature, Mathematics) and 2 elective subjects (from the remaining subjects studied in grade 12 including: Foreign Language, History, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economic and Legal Education, Information Technology, Technology). The exam is expected to take place on June 26-27, 2025.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the reference exam ensures compliance with regulations on the structure and format of the high school graduation exam from 2025 announced by the Ministry, while closely following the 2018 General Education Program and mainly grade 12.

To ensure objectivity, comprehensiveness, and closeness to the program and the teaching and learning process, the Ministry of Education and Training invited experts, scientists, lecturers, teachers, editors who participated in developing textbooks... to participate in developing the exam questions.

Compared to previous years, the Ministry announced the reference questions for the 2025 high school graduation exam nearly 5 months earlier. The Ministry said this is to help schools, teachers, and students proactively review.
