Proposing the Hanoi Party Committee to direct the handling of complicated complaints and denunciations

This request was emphasized by Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc - Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, Head of Inspection Team 809 of the Central Internal Affairs Commission - at the Conference to announce the draft Report on the results of the inspection of the implementation of Resolution No. 27 of the Party Central Committee and the organization of the implementation of Directive No. 35, Regulation No. 11, Directive No. 2 of the Politburo, Conclusion No. 69 of the Secretariat at the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, which took place on the afternoon of December 13.

According to the draft Inspection Results Report, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee has seriously grasped and promptly issued action plans and programs and directed the issuance of a large number of documents to lead and direct the implementation of resolutions, directives, regulations and conclusions of the Central Committee on continuing to build the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the new period.

The inspection delegation assessed that the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee actively coordinated with the Ministry of Justice to develop the draft Law on the Capital (amended); develop and vigorously implement the Project to promote decentralization, authorization, and administrative reform in the city.

Besides, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee focuses on leading and directing to improve the effectiveness of the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity.

According to the report of Inspection Team 809, the work of receiving citizens and dialogue with people by the heads of Party committees and authorities has been increasingly effective; attention has been paid to directing the settlement of many mass complaints and backlogs, strengthening the people's trust in Party committees and authorities, especially the establishment and effective implementation of the activities of the City Party Committee's Steering Committee on receiving citizens, resolving complaints and denunciations.

The Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee also leads and directs the improvement of the effectiveness of State management over the organization and operation of lawyers in the city, promoting the role and responsibility of lawyers in legal consultancy, protecting the rights and legitimate interests of individuals and organizations.

The Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee also promoted the role of press agencies in propagating, disseminating, and educating the law on receiving people, handling complaints and denunciations of citizens, actively fighting against propaganda, distortions or enticements, inciting complaints, etc.

The Draft Report also points out a number of limitations and shortcomings for the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee to direct for early resolution in the coming time.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc requested the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee to continue to pay attention to leading and directing the dissemination and implementation of Resolution 27 and related documents of the Central Government, creating unity among all levels and sectors in the city during the implementation process.

The Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission requested the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee to strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of the contents of the Central's resolutions, directives, regulations and conclusions at all levels and sectors.

" Closely coordinate with central ministries and branches to effectively handle complaints and denunciations in the city, especially focusing on directing the handling of complicated and prolonged complaints and denunciations under the supervision and direction of the City Party Committee's Steering Committee; continue to strengthen leadership over the organization and operation of lawyers, " said Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc.

In addition, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee needs to pay attention to directing the complete implementation of administrative judgments that have come into legal effect but have not yet been executed, contributing to ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of citizens.
