Over the past time, propaganda work on publications of Hanoi Moi Newspaper has developed comprehensively in both form and content, promptly reflecting the correct orientation, policies and directions of the City Party Committee and People's Committee.

The newspaper uses a variety of visual forms (megastory, longform, infographic, etc.) to convey policies, guidelines, or processes that are often dry into vivid, clear, and easy-to-understand illustrations to the people, thereby helping readers to access them in an easy-to-remember and easy-to-do way. These are forms of propaganda in disease prevention and control in recent times, or reminders and criticisms of urban order work expressed in very clear press photos that make it easy for those who are criticized or reminded to absorb and correct, thereby creating high social consensus - an important factor contributing to the successful implementation of economic and social tasks of Hanoi city.

The above results demonstrate the efforts and responsibility of the Editorial Board and the team of reporters of Hanoi Moi Newspaper towards readers, always wanting to serve readers in the best and most effective way. With the strong development of technology and modern journalism trends, to meet the tasks set by the city as well as the expectations of the people of the capital, I think that Hanoi Moi Newspaper will continue to carry out many tasks.

That is the digital transformation work in the Newspaper. Because this is an inevitable trend of press agencies and Hanoi Moi cannot be outside this trend. The development of the Newspaper depends on the close interaction with readers and therefore, the digital transformation strategy must take readers as the center of service.

Along with the affirmed values of the Newspaper which are “reliable, accurate, highly oriented”, digital transformation is also an important factor affirming the position of Hanoi Moi in modern journalism. If this cannot be done, there may be risks such as falling behind and losing readers.

To do this well, Hanoi Moi Newspaper needs to closely follow the Government's direction in the Decision to promulgate the Strategy for Digital Transformation of the Press to 2025, with a vision to 2030; the Action Plan to implement the Strategy for Digital Transformation of the Press to 2025, with a vision to 2030 of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Program for Digital Transformation of Hanoi City to 2025, with a vision to 2030, especially to build its own strategy based on the assessment of internal factors and develop it fundamentally and methodically to be able to achieve the set goals.

Along with that, to meet the trend in the current period, especially with the strong development of social networking platforms, Hanoi Moi Newspaper needs to maintain its position as a trusted press agency, and at the same time must provide information more quickly, promptly and especially information that is unique to Hanoi Moi to readers.

This requires the newspaper to have in-depth articles and a team of collaborators who are senior experts at home and abroad to contribute to the city on difficult and hot issues. Currently, the city is implementing many major tasks, such as the Hanoi Capital Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 and the overall adjustment of the Capital Construction Master Plan to 2030, with a vision to 2050; completing the Capital Law project (amended), building Ring Road 4... Therefore, the city really needs many critical voices, comments, and suggestions from the community, experts at home and abroad. As a mouthpiece, Hanoi Moi Newspaper needs to play this bridging role well.

Journalism is a special job, because it is an activity in the ideological field. This task requires press agencies and journalists to always improve their political qualities and professional qualifications. Hopefully, Hanoi Moi Newspaper will continue to pay attention to this work. In addition to improving their professional skills, journalists need to have a strong will, comply with legal regulations in general, journalistic ethics in particular, and especially regulations on the cultural behavior of cadres, civil servants, and public employees of the Capital...

Along with that, from the perspective of a specialized state management agency, the Department of Information and Communications will also continue to advise the city's leaders and work with functional agencies to come up with solutions to create stronger potential for the activities of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper, so that the Newspaper can continue to move forward steadily and develop, worthy of being the Party newspaper of the capital Hanoi.
