At the conference, delegates heard information from the leaders of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission about the State visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam by General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping and his wife taking place on December 12-13, 2023.
The leaders of the National Assembly Office informed the topic: "Important results of the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly". Accordingly, after 22.5 working days (phase 1 from October 23 to November 10 ; phase 2 from November 20 to 29 , 2023 ), the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly has completed the entire proposed program. The National Assembly has promoted the spirit of responsibility, promoted democracy and intelligence, frankly focused on discussing and resolving a large and important volume of work with high consensus and unanimity.
In 2023, by innovating and improving the effectiveness of oral propaganda work, the resolutions, directives, conclusions of the Central Committee, socio-economic development results and important political events of the country will be widely disseminated to every cadre, party member and people. In their speeches at the conference, delegates presented new and effective ways of doing oral propaganda work, and at the same time recommended and proposed some ideas to improve the effectiveness of oral propaganda work in the coming time.
Speaking at the conference, comrade Dang Hai Trieu, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, suggested that the Central Propaganda Department should consider that in addition to the three tasks of organizing reporters' conferences; advising on dialogues; compiling and issuing documents for reporters, there should be many other types of activities to make reporters' activities diverse, widespread and continuous. Changing reporters' conferences, online conferences should only be organized with popular and general topics, while specialized issues should be organized directly...
Concluding the conference, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Phan Xuan Thuy suggested that it is necessary to continue to thoroughly grasp and strongly promote the role and importance of oral propaganda work and the responsibility of the team of propagandists and reporters in the new situation; improve the quality of content and innovate and modernize forms of information provision to meet the increasing requirements of reporters at all levels and grassroots propagandists; combine direct and online propaganda forms; focus on improving quality, creating clear changes in information provision activities to serve the Party's oral propaganda work... Regarding the propaganda orientation for December 2023, continue to propagate according to the instructions of the Central Propaganda Department; propagate foreign affairs activities, attend important international conferences of Party and State leaders.
On this occasion, the Central Propaganda Department awarded Certificates of Merit to 10 collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in oral propaganda work and reporter activities in 2023.
