According to the Ho Chi Minh City Emulation and Reward Board, the work of propagating the patriotic emulation movement and replicating advanced models has been coordinated by agencies in many diverse and rich forms. Many typical, creative, practical and effective models and examples have attracted the attention and participation of all sectors, union members, association members and people from all walks of life. In particular, from 2020 to present, SGGP Newspaper alone has had nearly 300 articles promoting emulation and reward work; over 750 articles promoting advanced models and nearly 1,300 articles promoting good people - good deeds.

In the coming time, the Emulation and Reward Committee will propose measures and solutions to innovate the content and methods of organizing propaganda for the patriotic emulation movement. In particular, it will focus on continuing to propose solutions to effectively implement propaganda work to implement Resolution No. 31-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the direction and tasks of developing Ho Chi Minh City to 2030, with a vision to 2045; Resolution 98/2023/QH15 on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Ho Chi Minh City.
On this occasion, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai awarded certificates of merit to 11 collectives and 12 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the program of coordination to promote propaganda of patriotic emulation movements and replicate advanced models in the period 2020-2025.
Speaking at the conference, Journalist Pham Truong, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of SGGP Newspaper, shared that every year, the Party Committee and Editorial Board of SGGP Newspaper have requested specialized departments and divisions to make specific plans to promote patriotic emulation movements and replicate advanced models. In particular, with traditional movements that have been implemented for many years, SGGP Newspaper has a plan to promote them right from the time of launching and re-launching.

Specifically, to promote typical advanced models and propagate the patriotic emulation movement, over the years, SGGP Newspaper has opened the column "Following Uncle Ho's example" to introduce and spread examples of collectives and individuals with good and creative ways of learning from Uncle Ho to readers and people of the city, thereby helping to promote typical models and good ways of doing things. In addition, through 5 times Ho Chi Minh City organized to honor silent but noble examples, SGGP Newspaper closely followed the program and widely propagated the examples of collectives and individuals honored.
Journalist Pham Truong shared that, along with the purpose of the Party newspaper, with the information function always associated with propaganda, praising and glorifying the beautiful and noble, it is the top important responsibility of SGGP Newspaper. The newspaper has organized many programs and awards aimed at the community, aiming to carry out the patriotic emulation movement, promoting typical advanced examples that have created prestige in the hearts of readers such as: Nguyen Van Huong Scholarship Fund; Vo Truong Toan Award; Good Literature and Writing Contest; Vietnam Golden Ball Award, Ton Duc Thang Award...
In addition, when assigned the main task of promoting the Ho Chi Minh City Creativity Award, the Party Committee and Editorial Board of SGGP Newspaper directed and thoroughly implemented the propaganda work in both content and form to ensure that the information creates an effect.
Propaganda work not only honors collectives and individuals with research projects, solutions, and creative works in performing tasks, but also arouses and inspires the emulation and innovation movement to spread widely in social life. With the above mission, the 2nd Ho Chi Minh City Innovation Award (2021), SGGP Newspaper produced about 40 propaganda news and articles in print and electronic newspapers. The 3rd Ho Chi Minh City Innovation Award (2023), the Newspaper propagated more than 60 news and articles in print, electronic newspapers and video clips.

The Deputy Editor-in-Chief of SGGP Newspaper affirmed that the Newspaper continues to identify the task of performing well the propaganda work to create more inspiration for the patriotic emulation movement to be widely carried out, ensuring the effective implementation of Resolution 98, continuing to affirm the leading role and position and raising the status of Ho Chi Minh City.
At the same time, we request units and localities to support SGGP Newspaper to continue to perform its tasks better. At the same time, SGGP Newspaper also continues to implement the programs and columns that have been implemented. At the same time, we will promote the dissemination of Resolution 98 with the strong participation of Ho Chi Minh City, considering this a key, continuous task to focus on in the coming time.

City newspapers and radio stations continue to increase broadcasting time, increase special pages and columns on patriotic emulation movements and promote advanced models. Promote the work of praising, honoring and promoting advanced models, examples of "good people, good deeds", "real people, real deeds"; new models, effective methods.
In addition, agencies and units should pay attention to building and training staff; investing in upgrading facilities and means of operation in propaganda work to meet assigned requirements in the new situation.
