Love your homeland more through experiential activities

In the 2018 general education program, experiential activities and local educational materials are new subjects/activities that help students supplement their knowledge and clarify content according to each topic. Through practical career-oriented experiential activities combined with local education, students understand the culture, history, art, etc. of their homeland. From there, students can explore and practice to form life skills suitable for each age group of students.

Students of Trinh Phong Secondary School, Dien Khanh, Khanh Hoa listen to an introduction about the Gac Ma naval battle and the brave sacrifice of 64 Gac Ma soldiers.

Depending on their conditions, schools have many forms of organizing career guidance experience activities, visiting historical, cultural, artistic sites, etc. that are suitable and practical for each school.

To effectively implement the goal of teaching career guidance experience activities and local educational materials with practical teaching methods, teachers organized for students of Trinh Phong Secondary School, Dien Khanh (Khanh Hoa) to go to the Gac Ma Soldier Memorial Area in Cam Hai Dong Commune, Cam Lam District (Khanh Hoa) to offer incense and flowers, to pay tribute to the heroic soldiers of Gac Ma Island who sacrificed their lives and continued to write the heroic epic of defending the country of our ancestors forever...

Khanh Hoa province is not only the "Land of Agarwood, Sea of Bird's Nest" but also a land with many famous historical relics and scenic spots: Ponagar Tower, Dien Khanh ancient citadel, Am Chua, Binh Tay General Trinh Phong Temple, Tran Quy Cap Temple, Dien Khanh Temple of Literature, Institute of Oceanography, Nha Trang Bay, Gac Ma Island Soldiers Memorial Area... so it is very convenient for students to visit, experience, and study... Therefore, every year, most schools have plans to organize for students to visit, experience and study at the above historical and cultural relics with many meaningful, practical and highly effective meanings.

In addition, schools also organize "play" activities recreating historical and cultural characters and periods right at school.

Usually after the career orientation experience, students are "surveyed" by writing their thoughts and feelings about the address and place they have been to. In addition to life skills, the more important and meaningful thing is to educate them to remember their roots, love their homeland more, and determine their motivation and purpose of studying to protect and build their homeland to become more and more beautiful and rich.
