As usual every year, CLSA Financial Group has released the CLSA Feng Shui Index report predicting the stock market based on Feng Shui. This is a prestigious report in applying Feng Shui to stocks in the Hong Kong market in particular and in the world in general.
Continuing the tradition that started in 1992, this year of the Snake, CLSA has released its market forecast with the key message of a successful outlook.
The year of the Snake is a leap year with 13 lunar months, this year the repeating month will be June. CLSA said that June this year will be a “relaxed” snake with the index likely to remain unchanged.
The market will do well in spring and winter, may experience a period of stagnation in summer and have small declines throughout the year. The CLSA Feng Shui Index has assigned each month to a different snake to represent the nature of the market.
The period from early January to early April will start with a modest rally with a temporary observation base, followed by a decline to test the limits. Fortunately, this period is the market's worst.
Immediately after that, from April to the end of May 2025, the snake flew up with a rapid and steady increase. CLSA even said that in May, the market would rise to unprecedented heights.
After the strong growth period, the market entered the summer with a period of stagnation, the index stagnated and remained sideways. This stagnant period lasted quite a long time, the index fluctuated up and down, but there was no breakthrough until the end of November 2025.
The last two months of the year of the Snake are the most notable highlights of the year. Finally, in December 2025, a change takes place, bringing the market up. Perhaps to look forward to the Year of the Horse (Binh Ngo), the index has skyrocketed and ended the year relatively successfully, CLSA forecasts.

From 05/06 - 06/07/2025: During the summer lull, the index stagnates.
From 07/08 - 06/08/2025: Reflecting the snake's neither up nor down movement, the index remains sideways.
07/08 - 06/09/2025: This month it is difficult to determine how much of the index increase is real and how much is just noise.
07/09 - 07/10/2025: Brings a small decline, the market wilts a bit.
From 08/10 - 06/11/2025: Index goes down.

06/12/2025 - 04/01/2026: Finally something changes, the market recovers.
