That is the message of Dr. Nguyen Sy Ha, Deputy Director in charge of the Branch of the University of Forestry in Dong Nai province, for new students.
On the morning of November 11, the Forestry University Branch in Dong Nai province held a ceremony to celebrate its 15th anniversary, Vietnamese Teachers' Day and the opening of the 2023-2024 school year.

Formerly known as Central Forestry High School 2, with a staff of only 98 staff and lecturers and a scale of nearly 900 students, up to now, the Forestry University Branch in Dong Nai province has more than 200 staff and lecturers and a training scale of more than 4,000 people (including 500 graduate students, 2,500 university students and more than 1,000 high school students).
Dr. Nguyen Sy Ha, Deputy Director in charge of the branch, said: "From 2008 to now, the branch has trained and provided the southern provinces and the whole country with nearly 10,000 engineers and bachelors in the fields of forestry, agriculture, economics..., nearly 1,400 masters and nearly 3,000 secondary school students".
According to the branch leader, many of these alumni have developed their abilities to succeed, some have become directors of national parks, some have started their own businesses or held important positions in units operating in the fields of agriculture and forestry...

At the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Sy Ha also shared his heartfelt thoughts with the new students. Mr. Ha said that entering the university is just the beginning of a long process of striving.
"You must always clearly identify that learning is lifelong. Always ask yourself what is the purpose of learning, who you are learning for, and how to learn to achieve the best results. From there, build a scientific learning plan for yourself," Dr. Ha advised.
In addition, Mr. Ha advised new students to always try harder and practice hard to achieve their ultimate goal and then success will certainly come.
