On March 16, Vinh City Police (Nghe An) are coordinating with relevant units to investigate and clarify a car theft case that occurred in the area.

Previously, according to the report of Mr. T.D.H. (39 years old, residing in Hung Phuc ward, Vinh city), on the afternoon of March 7, he parked his car in alley 64, Nguyen Sy Sach street (Vinh city), about 200m from his house.

However, on the morning of March 9, when Mr. H. went to get his car, he discovered that it had disappeared. The family reported it to the authorities and posted on social media asking for help in finding it.

On the afternoon of March 15, after reading information about a man asking the online community to help find his stolen car, Ms. Le Nhu Y (54 years old, nurse at Thanh Chi Commune Health Station, Thanh Chuong District) checked the car parked in the station's premises and found that it matched the information provided, so she reported it to the authorities.

The medical station is about 50km from Mr. H's house. The nurse added that at around 6:30 a.m. on March 9, while she was on duty, Mr. NTD (residing in Thanh Huong commune, Thanh Chuong district) came in to ask to leave his car. Mr. D. said that the car belonged to his brother and was pawned and redeemed. For nearly a week, the car has been covered with a tarpaulin.

Through checking the information on the registration system, the owner of car with license plate 37K-111.54 is Mr. NTT (44 years old, residing in Thanh Huong commune, Thanh Chuong district). The car was first registered on July 11, 2016 and re-registered on April 20, 2023. In February 2024, Mr. T. sold the car to a man named H.

The leader of Thanh Huong Commune People's Committee informed that Mr. D. is Mr. T.'s younger brother and is currently a freelance worker in the locality.

On the night of March 15, the car was brought to Vinh City Police headquarters to serve the investigation.
