The list of victims includes: 1. Mr. VVD (born in 1998, from Hai Duong); 2. Ms. NTTH (born in 2001, from Bac Ninh), Mr. VVD's wife; 3. Mr. TQK (born in 1998), from Hung Yen; 4. NXK (born in 2001), from Hung Yen; 5. Ms. NTM (born in 1995), from Thai Binh; 6. Ms. NTT (born in 1960), the owner of the motel; 7. Mr. NKH (born in 1982), son of Ms. T.; 8. Mr. NMXH (born in 1997), from Ha Tinh; 9. Ms. PTTH (born in 1997), wife of Mr. XH, from Ha Tinh; 10. Ms. VTL (born in 1999), from Thach That district, Hanoi (her family has completed procedures to bring her home); 11. Ms. NTKO (born in 1996), from Thach That district, Hanoi (her family has completed procedures to bring her home). The remaining 3 deceased victims are awaiting DNA test results for identification: 12. Mr. MNT (born in 1987, from Bac Kan); 13. Mr. LTT (born in 2000, from Hung Yen); 14. Mr. VNL (born in 2000, from Lao Cai).

After the fire broke out, relevant units coordinated with the People's Committee of Cau Giay District to visit and encourage the families of the victims. Accordingly, Hanoi provided 50 million VND for the deceased, 30 million VND for the injured and support for the families of the victims on the morning of May 24. Previously, at 0:46 on May 24, Call Center 114 - Hanoi City Police Command Information Center received a report of a fire at a house at address No. 1, Alley 31, Lane 98, Lane 43, Trung Kinh Street, Trung Hoa Ward, Cau Giay District. Just a few minutes later, the units arrived at the scene, deployed fire fighting, prevented the fire from spreading, and searched for and rescued the victims. At this time, the fire had grown strongly, burning many motorbikes, electric bicycles, and bicycles in the yard area, smoke and toxic gas covered the entire fire area. The forces broke the main gate lock, broke the window to access the house and rescued 7 trapped people, including 3 injured people who were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
