(HNMO) - On May 28, information from the Hanoi City Examination and Admissions Steering Committee and the examination and admissions steering committees of districts, towns and cities said that the units are continuing to check the material conditions of the locations expected to be used as exam sites for grade 10 in the 2023-2024 school year. The list of exam sites is expected to be finalized by the Hanoi Department of Education and Training in early June 2023.
It is expected that on June 7, 2023, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will specifically announce the list of entrance exam locations for grade 10 so that departments, branches, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities can develop and implement a plan to coordinate the organization of the exam.
In order to ensure objectivity in the examination supervision of the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2023-2024 school year, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will mobilize invigilators who are teachers from both junior high and high schools, as well as teachers from vocational education and continuing education centers. In particular, the supervisors at each examination site are high school teachers.
Currently, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training is finalizing the list of officials and teachers on duty for the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2023-2024 school year to issue a transfer decision in early June 2023. It is expected that about 20,000 officials and teachers from schools will be transferred.
Schools are responsible for organizing for all staff and teachers of their units to seriously study the examination regulations, master the examination procedures and have a high sense of responsibility.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training noted that, along with preparing official human resources as assigned, schools need to proactively prepare a reserve force of exam invigilators, organize for this force to study the exam regulations fully and seriously to be ready to supplement or replace when necessary, ensuring that the exam invigilator stage of the exam takes place safely and in accordance with regulations.
The 10th grade entrance exam for the 2023-2024 school year will take place on June 10 and 11, 2023, with nearly 105,000 students registered to take the exam. The Hanoi Department of Education and Training plans to set up 210 testing sites.
