In a solemn atmosphere, delegates observed a minute of silence, expressing their condolences and deep gratitude to those who sacrificed for the Fatherland, especially nearly 300 people of Kham Thien street who died in the B52 bombing on the night of December 26, 1972.
Kham Thien Memorial has long been a place to commemorate the pain and indomitable will of the people of Hanoi. Immediately after the devastating bombings, the people of Kham Thien fought steadfastly together with the entire army and people of the capital, contributing to the miracle of 12 days and nights of "Hanoi - Dien Bien Phu in the air".
