On the evening of October 6 (Mexico time), General Secretary of the Mexican Labor Party (PT) Alberto Anaya Guitiérrez hosted a solemn reception for the delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam led by Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Nguyen Thai Hoc on the occasion of attending the 27th International Conference "Political Parties and a New Society" in Mexico City.

In a warm atmosphere, General Secretary Guitiérrez expressed his admiration and respect for the national liberation struggle of the Vietnamese people and President Ho Chi Minh, affirming that Vietnam's success today must be attributed to the key role of the Communist Party of Vietnam - the force that has transformed Vietnam from a poor, backward country, heavily affected by war, into a rich and powerful nation with an increasingly important position and role in the region and the world.
The General Secretary of the Mexican Labor Party affirmed that no matter how difficult it is, the Communist Party of Vietnam is always steadfast in its goal of building socialism, so sooner or later it will lead Vietnam to become a socialist power, worthy of being a model and example for left-wing parties and progressive movements in the Latin American region to learn from and follow.
Expressing gratitude for the special affection and practical support that General Secretary of the PT Alberto Anaya Gutiérrez as well as the left-wing parties and progressive forces in Mexico and Latin America have given to the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Vietnamese people, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Nguyen Thai Hoc emphasized that these are actions that clearly demonstrate the growing position and influence of the PT in particular and the left-wing movement in Latin America in general.
At the event, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Nguyen Thai Hoc and the Vietnamese delegation brought greetings and regards from General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and the book "Resolutely and persistently fighting against corruption and negativity, contributing to building our Party and State increasingly clean and strong" to present to General Secretary of the PT Alberto Anaya Gutiérrez.
On this occasion, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Nguyen Thai Hoc also introduced the ideology and guiding viewpoints of the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the fight against corruption and negativity in Vietnam, emphasizing determination and perseverance, with no forbidden areas or exceptions, in order to build and rectify the Party to become increasingly clean and strong.
Also within the framework of the visit to Mexico and participation in the International Conference “Political Parties and a New Society”, on the same day, Comrade Nguyen Thai Hoc and the delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam had a working session with First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mexico Carmen Moreno Toscano, Congresswoman Sofia Carvajal - Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI).
At the meeting with the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, the two sides reviewed the development of relations between Vietnam and Mexico, discussed the development situation of each country, appreciated the support that the two sides have given each other in history as well as at present at bilateral and multilateral forums, and affirmed their determination to promote relations between the two countries to new heights.
Meanwhile, at a working meeting with Congresswoman Sofia Carvajal, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), comrade Nguyen Thai Hoc highly appreciated the position of PRI in Mexican political life, affirming that the Communist Party of Vietnam always attaches importance to the cooperative relationship with PRI - the major political party in Mexico that has always supported Vietnam in history as well as at present.
Previously, on the sidelines of the International Conference “Political Parties and a New Society” organized by the PT Party, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Nguyen Thai Hoc worked with Mr. Alfredo Femat Bañuelos, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Mexican House of Representatives, Chairman of the Mexico-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Group, and had bilateral meetings and exchanges with Ms. Citlalli Hernandez - General Secretary of the ruling National Reconstruction Movement (Morena) Party; Deputy Head of the Ideological Department of the Communist Party of Cuba Ludmila Alamo; Deputy Foreign Minister of Venezuela Rander Peña Ramírez and Mr. Miguel Mejia - General Secretary of the United Left Movement Party of the Dominican Republic.
Representatives of Mexican and Latin American political parties expressed their admiration for Vietnam's achievements in the Doi Moi process, and highly appreciated the fight against corruption in Vietnam, which was directly directed by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, and wished to learn from Vietnam's experience.
