From early morning, many local people were present at the Headquarters of the People's Committee of Nam Cuong Ward, Yen Bai City to participate in propaganda activities, instructions on integration, activation, updating and exploitation of utilities on the VNeID application. Cadres, Youth Union forces, and Ward Police actively supported people to integrate a variety of utilities such as: connecting to the national database system on population, social insurance, health , traffic, finance, banking...; allowing the implementation of online administrative procedures such as temporary residence declaration, temporary absence, permanent residence registration, making citizen identification cards, electronic identity authentication...; integrating non-cash payment utilities, supporting fast and safe transactions.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Lanh - a citizen of Dong Tien residential group, Nam Cuong ward shared: "Although I have installed and activated VNeID, because I am old, I use it very slowly and often forget. Today, I came here to be guided by the police officers on how to use the VNeID application on my mobile phone. The police officers gave detailed instructions, updated personal information accurately, ensuring confidentiality and benefits for each citizen."

Support activities like this aim to help people access and effectively use the VNeID application in handling administrative procedures and digital utility services, improving the effectiveness of state management, improving the quality of service to the people and promoting socio-economic development.

"In 2024, along with other localities, Nam Cuong ward also suffered heavy damage from storm No. 3, but with the attention and direction of the City Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee, the ward Party Committee led and directed cadres, party members and people to unite, unanimously, and make great efforts, thereby achieving many important results with 41/67 targets exceeding the plan, reaching 61%; 16 targets completing the plan, reaching 23.9%...; developing the first new OCOP product of the ward, the Jackfruit Ham product, ranked 3 stars; the highest budget revenue ever, reaching nearly 7.5 billion VND; the ward has only 1 poor household left" - said comrade Pham Ngoc Van - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Cuong ward.

In addition, the Ward Party Committee has handed over 3 lake embankments, completed the Nam Tho Residential Group Cultural House; the communal house and temple have been urgently repaired; continued to invest in renovating the lake embankment and the small park in the Lake 2 area, and is building the ward's traditional house; socialized the renovation of residential areas; done a good job of propaganda and mobilizing 7 households to voluntarily move their fences to donate land to expand and upgrade roads; launched the implementation of a civilized lifestyle in weddings and funerals; collected, classified and treated waste at the source...

In 2025, the Ward Party Committee continues to identify key tasks including: performing well in social security work, taking care of poor and near-poor households, policy-based households, disadvantaged households, and households severely affected by storm No. 3; focusing on urban beautification work; promoting the implementation of digital transformation in the ward.

In the first quarter of 2025, the ward completed a project "Lighting up the countryside roads" with 3 routes; supported 1 poor household and 4 near-poor households to escape poverty; led, mobilized, and propagated people of all walks of life to implement the targets set out in the Resolution of the Ward Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term. Party cells developed resolutions suitable to local conditions.

In particular, focusing on taking party members as the core in the emulation movements of production, hunger eradication and poverty reduction; at the same time, assigning each organization to closely follow members, union members, guide them on how to do things, borrow capital and disseminate knowledge and experience in production and business. Along with focusing on economic development, focusing on investing in infrastructure construction, the ward government will promote the management of urban order; build rural roads in the area.

With the efforts of the Party Committee, government and people, Nam Cuong Ward was honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal in the renovation period.
