In 2022, Meritorious Artist Chi Trung stopped holding the position of director at Tuoi Tre Theater, retiring according to regulations. Chi Trung has also been associated with Gap Nhau Cuoi Tuan and Gap Nhau Cuoi Nam since the late 1990s and has been on air for 20 years. With his graceful delivery and diction, Chi Trung has delivered a series of "immortal" lines that have caused a storm for many years when participating in Tao Quan.
