On the morning of March 16, Ms. Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh - Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee - said that all preparations for the 20th anniversary of the province's re-establishment (January 1, 2004 and January 1, 2024) have been completed to welcome delegates and tourists this weekend, in which the province has prepared more than 7,000 accommodations and 5 experiential tourist routes.
According to Ms. Hanh, the 5 tourist routes focus on exploiting the most famous and impressive attractions of the province, aiming at Dak Nong UNESCO Global Geopark and Ta Dung Lake (likened to Ha Long Bay of the Central Highlands).
Tourists who love majestic and adventurous landscapes can choose to visit the longest volcanic cave system in Southeast Asia in Krong No district or the majestic waterfalls on the Serepok River. A total of 44 tourist attractions in the Dak Nong UNESCO Global Geopark will be updated and introduced on social networking sites to promote to a large number of tourists.

At the same time, visitors can also experience the daily life, farming methods and production of Dak Nong people on vast fields of coffee, durian and pepper.
"On this occasion, Dak Nong also launched a tourist route on the border for the first time. On this route, visitors will be able to see the road under the wild, poetic forest canopy, and be close to nature," Ms. Hanh hopes.
Besides attractive tours and routes, accommodation places contribute to promoting tourism and culture.
Ms. Le Thi Truc Linh - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Nong province - also commented that this time the number of visitors to Dak Nong will increase dramatically. The Department has inspected and requested accommodation establishments to renovate and repair items to improve the quality of service for tourists.
To date, localities have prepared nearly 200 accommodation facilities, serving more than 7,100 guests/day. Key districts in tours and routes of Dak Nong UNESCO Global Geopark such as Krong No and Dak Cu Jut have also improved the quality of tourist services.
"Tourists can also stay at community tourism areas, experience the life, culture and cuisine of ethnic minorities in Dak Nong province," Ms. Linh informed.

Many activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the province's establishment
According to Ms. Hanh, there will be many special programs organized on this occasion, the highlights of which are the opening ceremony on the night of March 23 at Gia Nghia central stage; the ceremony to receive the title of Dak Nong UNESCO Global Geopark for the second time; and the third Vietnam Brocade Culture Festival in 2024.
In addition, activities to promote tourism in Dak Nong province; seminars to connect routes and tourist destinations associated with Dak Nong UNESCO Global Geopark.
In particular, the conference to announce the planning of Dak Nong province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 and promote investment in Dak Nong province in 2024 will also be an event of great interest to investors and tourists.
