Voice of Vietnam Radio organizes a table tennis tournament for exchange between press units

This year's award was attended by 7 press agencies and units including: Central Propaganda Department, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Vietnam Television, Vietnam News Agency, Vietnam Journalists Association, Communist Magazine and Voice of Vietnam Radio.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Minh Hung - Deputy General Director of Voice of Vietnam warmly welcomed the leaders of the units and athletes participating in this year's tournament. At the same time, the Deputy General Director of Voice of Vietnam presented flowers, flags and took souvenir photos with the leaders and representatives of the athletes of 7 press units participating in the tournament.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Minh Hung said: “This playground aims to create conditions for athletes and participating units to increase cooperation and understanding, improve physical and mental health, and promote solidarity and friendship. The tournament is also an opportunity to maintain, develop, and improve table tennis training in particular and the physical education and sports movement of units in general.”

Immediately after the Opening Ceremony, 70 athletes from 7 press agencies competed in 6 categories: men's singles, men's doubles, men's singles over 45 years old, men's singles under 45 years old, men's doubles and mixed doubles.
