On the morning of November 16, in Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang Province, the Party Committee and Command of Naval Region 5 held a conference to hand over the responsibilities and tasks of the Deputy Political Commissar of the Region. Rear Admiral Nguyen Huu Thoan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Region chaired the conference.
According to the decision of the Ministry of National Defense, Colonel Le Van Huong, Deputy Political Commissar of the Naval Region 5 Command, was transferred to the position of Deputy Political Commissar of the Navy. Colonel Hoang Quoc Hoan, Political Commissar of the Naval Staff, was appointed to the position of Deputy Political Commissar of the Naval Region 5 Command.

Speaking at the conference, Rear Admiral Nguyen Huu Thoan congratulated and acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of Colonel Le Van Huong and Colonel Hoang Quoc Hoan during their work.
The Political Commissar of the Naval Region 5 Command hopes that in his position as Deputy Chief of Naval Politics, Colonel Le Van Huong will continue to promote his capacity and intelligence, pay attention to directing and helping the Naval Region 5 Command to successfully complete its assigned tasks.
