Belgian Ambassador co-chairs press conference of Belgian Cultural and Gastronomy Festival 2024 in Hai Phong

Following the success of previous years, the Belgian Culture and Gastronomy Festival 2024 (B. Fest 2024) will return for the 4th time at the Vietnam-Czech Republic Friendship Cultural Palace, 53 Lach Tray, Hai Phong from October 25-27.

On October 9, in Hai Phong, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Vietnam, Mr. Karl Van den Bossche, co-chaired a press conference on the Belgian Food and Culture Festival 2024 (B. Fest) at the Vietnam-Czech Republic Friendship Cultural Palace, 53 Lach Tray, Hai Phong from October 25-27.

B. Fest 2024 will be invested in organizing on a large scale, with the most impressive decorations ever, expected to attract over 6,000 attendees, promising to bring a unique multi-sensory experience to residents and visitors in the port city of Hai Phong.

With the theme “Multi-sensory touch”, the festival promises to bring a journey to discover Belgium’s famous culinary culture with nearly 30 types of beer of different Belgian beer styles that have never been introduced in previous seasons. In particular, the presence of Belgian chefs and Belgian beer experts will bring unique culinary experiences when combining beers with the right dishes.

Visitors to the festival will have the opportunity to learn about the hundreds of years old origin of Belgian beer as well as the reasons why Belgian beer is loved and honored worldwide, recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage.

During the 3 nights of the event, there will be explosive performances with the participation of many talented artists from home and abroad. Singer Trong Hieu and the bands Osoko and Ouido will stir up the festival atmosphere with vibrant songs. In addition, famous DJs such as Alexander and Belgian DJ Loveboat (Discobar Galaxie) will stir up the party night with modern EDM music.

The festival welcomes the participation of the public, people of Hai Phong and neighboring provinces, the foreign community living in Vietnam, businesses, organizations and individuals who share a love for Belgian culture.

Within the framework of B. Fest 2024, a workshop and tour on “Innovation and Sustainable Development” will take place on October 25, aiming to introduce the investment environment in Hai Phong to attract foreign investment to the city.

Held annually since 2019, B. Fest is an event authorized by the Belgian Embassy in Vietnam for DEEP C Industrial Park - Belgium's largest investment project in Vietnam, in coordination with the Belgian - Luxembourg Business Association in Vietnam.

The festival is not only a bridge for the Belgian community in Vietnam and local people to share unique cultural values, but also promotes economic and tourism cooperation between the two countries, and introduces Hai Phong as an attractive investment destination. Through the festival, DEEP C wants to thank Hai Phong and the city's people for their contributions and companionship over nearly 30 years to help DEEP C become a leading industrial park in Vietnam.
