In the first 6 months of 2024, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam's total insurance premium revenue reached nearly VND 9,200 billion, market share reached 13%, up 0.5 percentage points compared to the end of 2023, holding the position of Top 3 foreign life insurance companies in terms of total insurance premium revenue.

Newly exploited insurance premium revenue reached nearly 1,800 billion VND, leading foreign life insurance companies in annual new exploited insurance premium revenue; after-tax profit was over 1,100 billion VND.

Always committed to ensuring superior benefits for customers, in the first 6 months of 2024, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam has paid insurance benefits of over VND 2,200 billion for more than 200,000 cases, of which nearly VND 700 billion was paid for health care insurance benefits, hospital and accident support, bringing the total amount of insurance benefits paid to over VND 21,700 billion for more than 1.9 million cases in nearly 17 years, contributing to ensuring social security for the Vietnamese people. The company is currently serving nearly 5 million customers and their families through a team of over 2,000 employees and 110,000 professional financial consultants at 300 offices nationwide.

Aiming at the goal of taking care of health and ensuring lifelong financial security for customers and their families, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam promotes the development of a digital ecosystem of health and happiness. On July 15, 2024, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam officially launched the Online Health Consultation Service on the Dai-ichi Connect platform with four features: Ask a Doctor, Chat with a Doctor, Video Consultation with a Doctor, Health Care Call to answer questions and concerns about physical, mental and nutritional health, helping customers and their families to proactively monitor their health status, thereby taking better care of themselves to live a healthier and happier life every day.

In order to create convenience and enhance the experience of health care services and medical treatment for customers, as of June 2024, the Company has directly linked with more than 260 hospitals, clinics, and medical facilities at home and abroad to expand the system of providing inpatient and outpatient hospital fee guarantee services.

From 2023 to present, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam has organized nearly 4,200 health seminars to provide free general health check-ups, cancer, stroke, and diabetes screening for more than 102,000 customers nationwide with a budget of over VND 22 billion. In addition, at the seminars, customers will be updated with useful knowledge shared by a team of doctors and medical experts on health topics that are of top concern today such as: cardiovascular disease, stroke, cancer, critical illnesses, etc.
