On June 16, the Farmers' Association of Krong Buk district held the 12th Congress of Delegates, term 2023 - 2028.
Attending the congress were Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Farmers' Association Nguyen Thi Tuong Loan; leaders of the District Party Committee and 103 delegates representing more than 7,900 farmer members in the district.
In the 2018-2023 term, the District Farmers' Association at all levels regularly innovates the content and methods of operation to suit the actual situation in the locality. At the same time, closely following the Party's resolutions, propagandizing and motivating cadres and farmer members to compete to complete the goals and tasks set by the Congress.

Specifically, the District Farmers' Association at all levels has admitted 2,109 members, bringing the total number of current members to 7,931; organized 92 seminars and training courses on transferring scientific and technological advances to farmers with the participation of 3,954 officials and farmer members; 23,616 member households have achieved the title of excellent production and business at all levels...
In addition, the District Farmers' Association has played a good role as a bridge between the District Social Policy Bank and its members; maintained the effective operation of 59 savings and loan groups, with a total outstanding debt of more than VND 114.8 billion; supported the supply of 1,150 tons of fertilizer with deferred payment, an increase of 15% compared to the previous term.

At the congress, 100% of the delegates voted to approve a number of targets set for the 2023 - 2028 term: admitting at least 1,500 new members; establishing 14 new professional farmer associations and 7 professional farmer branches; increasing the Farmers Support Fund to 1.5 billion VND (an average of 300 million VND/year); organizing vocational training classes for at least 400 farmers to participate...
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the District Farmers' Association for the 12th term, 2023 - 2028, consisting of 14 members; Comrade Tran Thi Tuyen was re-elected as President of the District Farmers' Association for the 12th term. At the same time, 8 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates were elected to attend the higher-level Congress.

On this occasion, the Provincial Farmers' Association awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 collectives and 4 individuals; the District People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 8 collectives and 10 individuals; the District Farmers' Association awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 collectives and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the Association's work and the farmers' movement for the 2018-2023 term.
The Provincial Farmers' Association awarded capital from the Farmers' Support Fund to 2 projects; the District Farmers' Association awarded capital to 3 production and livestock development projects to professional associations in the district.
