Attending and directing the Congress were comrade Nguyen Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of Lam Thao district; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee; leaders of the Fatherland Front Committees of districts, cities and towns and 153 delegates representing all walks of life in the district.

In the 2019 - 2024 term, the Lam Thao District Fatherland Front has focused on leading and directing the achievement and surpassing of 8/8 targets set by the Congress Resolution. Every year, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at the district level are all ranked as good or higher; over 90% of the People's Inspection Committees and Community Investment Supervision Committees operate effectively; 100% of residential areas organize the National Great Unity Day well. The Fatherland Front at all levels has coordinated to propagate and mobilize people to voluntarily contribute more than 420 billion VND along with State resources to build and complete the criteria of advanced, model new-style rural communes and civilized urban areas in the area. The "For the Poor" Fund at all levels has mobilized support to build new Great Unity houses, repair dilapidated houses; give Tet gifts to poor and near-poor households; give bicycles to poor students who overcome difficulties...
Thereby, contributing significantly to the results of implementing the goal of sustainable poverty reduction and social security work in the area. In 2023, the rate of cultural residential areas reached 97.5%; the rate of cultural households reached 98%; the rate of poor households decreased to 1.71%. Up to now, Lam Thao district has 10/10 communes meeting the new rural standards; 5 communes meeting the advanced new rural standards; 1 commune meeting the model new rural standards (2 communes are submitting to the Provincial People's Committee for recognition of the model new rural standards).

In the 2024 - 2029 term, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the district strives to annually mobilize support for the district's "For the Poor" Fund to reach 450 million VND or more; helping 25-30 households escape poverty. Each residential area has at least one typical, specific project or task, contributing to building and serving the community; 100% of residential areas in the district have established and effectively maintained at least one self-managed group or team in the community.

Speaking at the Congress, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Hai acknowledged, congratulated and commended the results of the Front's work in Lam Thao district, contributing to socio-economic development, building new rural areas, and sustainable poverty reduction in the area. At the same time, he emphasized: In the coming time, with their great role and social responsibility, the Fatherland Front and its member organizations in Lam Thao district need to constantly innovate the content and methods of operation; gather and unite widely all classes of people, promote the strength of the great national solidarity bloc; take care of people's lives and interests to orient the goals of activities, take people's satisfaction as a measure of work results and evaluate cadres.
Focus on promoting propaganda and raising awareness among cadres, party members and people about the cause of great national unity, the position, role, functions and tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the new period. Pay attention to performing well the role and function as a representative organization to protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people; mobilize people to actively participate in Party building, government building... The Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the district needs to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation in the direction of being close to the grassroots, practical and effective; at the same time, continue to implement patriotic emulation campaigns and movements, creating strong qualitative changes; actively mobilize resources to support poor households, households in especially difficult circumstances, and social security programs in the area.

With a spirit of democracy, solidarity and high unity, the Congress consulted to elect 45 delegates to join the District Fatherland Front Committee, term XXVI. At the first conference, the District Fatherland Front Committee consulted to elect comrade Nguyen Manh Toan - District Party Committee member, Head of Finance and Planning Department to hold the position of Chairman of the District Fatherland Front Committee, term XXVI, 2024 - 2029.
The Congress also consulted to elect 9 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates to attend the 15th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress, term 2024 - 2029; passed the Congress Resolution, the Action Program of the District Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term XXVI and identified the breakthrough for the term 2024 - 2029: Continuing to promote the core role of the Fatherland Front and member organizations in building advanced, exemplary new rural areas, civilized urban areas, striving to build the district to meet advanced new rural standards.
