Eximbank shareholders meeting discusses moving headquarters to Hanoi

According to Eximbank, the relocation of headquarters will be discussed publicly and transparently at the General Meeting of Shareholders taking place at the end of November and will only be approved if it receives approval from over 51% of the total votes of shareholders attending the meeting.

Accordingly, the Board of Directors of Eximbank submitted to the General Meeting of Shareholders for consideration and approval the change of the head office location from the current address of 8th Floor, Office No. L8-01-11+16, Vincom Center Building, 72 Le Thanh Ton, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City to the new location of No. 27-29 Ly Thai To, Ly Thai To Ward, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi City, Vietnam.

Eximbank assesses that the North is a dynamic market with much room for exploration. Therefore, the Bank aims to expand its distribution network and reach potential customers in this region, to seize market opportunities, helping to increase revenue, profit and brand influence.

Currently, Eximbank has 215 branches and transaction points nationwide, but mainly concentrated in the Southern region. In recent times, the Bank has invested heavily in technology and flexibly deployed solutions based on new thinking about approaching customers and markets. According to Eximbank, this change in the location of the head office is necessary to suit the Bank's development strategy in the new context, helping Eximbank gradually regain its position with a brand covering the whole country.
