Implementing the program of meeting voters after the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly, on December 5-6, 2024, Group 2 of National Assembly Deputies, belonging to the National Assembly Delegation of Bac Lieu province, including National Assembly Delegate Nguyen Huy Thai - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and National Assembly Delegate Tran Thi Thu Dong - Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, President of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and representatives of the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, leaders of provincial and district departments, branches and sectors had a meeting with voters in 4 localities of 4 districts in the province.

Specifically, the delegation visited voters in Dien Hai commune, Dong Hai district, Lang Tron ward, Gia Rai town, Ninh Hoa commune, Hong Dan district and Hung Phu commune, Phuoc Long district.

At the meeting, delegates listened to Ms. Tran Thi Thu Dong, representative of the National Assembly Delegation, summarize the results of the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly; Listening to the Delegation of the Provincial People's Council and District People's Council announce the expected program and content to be implemented at the year-end session of the 2-level People's Councils in 2024, voters highly appreciated the contents and programs that the National Assembly implemented in the last session and the contents that the 2-level People's Councils are preparing to carry out at the upcoming year-end session.

Also at this meeting, voters had opinions and recommendations for the National Assembly and the Government to consider increasing the level of support for part-time cadres at the commune and hamlet levels. Consider and support health insurance for people, Recommend the Government and central specialized ministries to have a specific roadmap for reforming textbooks at all levels, avoiding waste and causing difficulties for people and students. Regarding land policy, land use rights are still inadequate, recommend investing in and upgrading the National Highway IA, and rural routes due to high tides that are often flooded, affecting people's lives, Consider the planning work of the town, invest in projects so that Gia Rai town is qualified to be upgraded to a city by 2025; Dredging of intra-field canals to serve agriculture, Proposing to consider increasing the level of support for hamlet and village organizations to operate better, proposing to invest in degraded rural roads and electricity that need to be repaired and upgraded soon, Voters also proposed that the National Assembly consider lowering the age of receiving monthly social allowances for the elderly, instead of 80 years old to receive allowances as at present...

On behalf of the National Assembly Delegation, Mr. Nguyen Huy Thai, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Bac Lieu province, acknowledged all the opinions of the voters. At the same time, he requested that local leaders and functional agencies of the province acknowledge and promptly consider handling the legitimate and reasonable opinions and recommendations raised by voters. Regarding opinions under the Central authority, Mr. Nguyen Huy Thai requested that the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and People's Council acknowledge and synthesize them to report to the National Assembly and reflect them to ministries and branches to respond to voters in the coming time.
