On the afternoon of May 21, continuing the program of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly, under the chairmanship of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, National Assembly deputies discussed in the hall the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Property Auction.
Speaking at the meeting, delegate Bui Sy Hoan, Director of the Department of Justice of Hai Duong province, pointed out that the provisions on "domestic helpers" in the draft law still have loopholes and gaps.
From practice, delegate Bui Sy Hoan pointed out that the draft law has provisions on "housekeepers" but does not stipulate rights, obligations, responsibilities or explain the term "housekeeper". This leads to the fact that property auctions with the participation of housekeepers are not uniform, sometimes many, sometimes few, and the operations are unclear...
According to the delegate, this is a loophole, a legal gap for profiteering. Delegate Bui Sy Hoan proposed specific regulations on the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of "housekeepers" and "minute takers".
Delegate Bui Sy Hoan also proposed to add cases of auction result cancellation, ensuring consistency with current legal documents. The current law only stipulates cases of auction result cancellation but does not stipulate the agencies, organizations, and individuals with the authority to cancel the asset auction results. Therefore, this draft law needs to stipulate to ensure the legality of canceling asset auction results.
Previously, on the morning of May 21, delegate Nguyen Thi Viet Nga, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province, discussed in the hall the draft Road Law.
Delegate Nguyen Thi Viet Nga said that the regulations on paper or electronic transport contracts do not cover all forms of passenger transport contracts. In fact, contracts can be in paper, electronic or text messages or just oral contracts. Therefore, delegate Nguyen Thi Viet Nga proposed to add the phrase “and other forms of contracts as prescribed”.
