Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong introduced the development potential of Da Nang city. Da Nang is currently identified as the growth nucleus of the Central Key Economic Zone of Vietnam. The main industrial products of Da Nang are seafood, textiles, footwear, mechanics, construction materials, and handicrafts. The city will support and create all conditions for French enterprises and investors to invest, live and work in the locality. Currently, the city has many educational institutions teaching French in schools to encourage French investors to invest in the education and training sector.
He also hopes that Da Nang city and France will have more cultural exchange activities, introducing French culture and people to Da Nang city as well as helping to introduce Vietnamese culture and people in general and Da Nang in particular to the French people.
