On the afternoon of October 23, at Da Nang International Airport, the opening ceremony of the Da Nang - Ahmedabad (India) flight route took place.
This is a direct flight connecting Da Nang to India, opening up opportunities to attract tourists and favorable conditions to promote trade between Da Nang and the country of a billion people.
The Da Nang - Ahmedabad route is operated by Vietjet with a frequency of 2 round trips per week, using Airbus A320 aircraft, with 180 seats/flight.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, this is not only an important milestone in connecting Da Nang City with Ahmedabad, but also opens up opportunities to connect the Central region with the most populous country in the world.
The Da Nang - Ahmedabad flight route was launched to meet the growing travel demand between the two countries and open up new opportunities for cooperation in the fields of economics, education, culture and technology.
According to Ms. Thi, Da Nang is the international gateway of the Central region with a dynamic economy and developed tourism industry.
While Ahmedabad is a city rich in cultural traditions and a major economic center of India, it will in the future be an attractive destination for tourists and investors.
The tourism products and service quality of the Central region are very suitable for the tastes of Indian tourists.
"Da Nang has beautiful beaches, high-end resorts, and increasingly complete and attractive tourism products such as golf tourism, MICE tourism, wedding tourism, cuisine and culture. In recent years, Indian tourists have gradually known the coastal city of Da Nang as a paradise for high-end tourism and a wedding venue for Indian billionaires," said Ms. Thi.
