Da Nang offers free movie screenings for residents and tourists on the occasion of National Day, September 2nd.

According to the Da Nang City Cultural and Film Center, the films selected for this film series all have historical content and high educational value, including animation, documentaries, and feature films. All screenings are free of charge and will run from August 23rd to September 13th.

Accordingly, at Le Do Cinema (46 Tran Phu Street, Hai Chau District), film screenings will begin at 7:30 PM on August 28th, 29th, and 30th with the following films: the feature film "915"; the documentaries "One Lifetime", "Ho Chi Minh: Portrait of a Man", "Uncle Ho and Cinema"; and the animated film "Hero of Tan Mountain".

At 7:00 PM on September 1st, the "Cinema Window" program will take place on Nhu Nguyet Street (Hai Chau District), screening the animated film "Trang Quynh" and the feature film "915," along with a cinematic check-in space.

On August 23rd at 7:00 PM, the feature film "The Prophet" was screened at Thanh Binh Ward Park (1 Thanh Thuy Street, Hai Chau District); on August 30th at 7:00 PM, the feature film "The Scent of Burning Grass" was screened at Thuan Phuoc Ward Park (Ngo Chi Lan Street, Hai Chau District); on September 6th at 7:00 PM, the feature film "The Prophet" was screened at Hoa Cuong Bac Ward Park (60 Le Vinh Huy Street, Hai Chau District); and on September 13th at 7:00 PM, the feature film "The Scent of Burning Grass" was screened at Hoa Thuan Tay Ward Park (2 Nguyen Trac Street, Hai Chau District).

Notably, mobile cinemas will also be brought to localities in Hoa Vang district during this period. From September 3-5, film screenings will be organized for the people of Hoa Bac commune in Ta Lang and Gian Bi villages, featuring many good films of diverse genres: the animated film "Hero of Tan Mountain", the feature films "915", "The Forest Crossing Road"; the animated series "Trang Quynh"; and the documentaries "Lawyer Vu Trong Khanh", "One Life".

Additionally, at 7:00 PM on September 7th, the animated film "Trạng Quỳnh" and the feature film "Mùi cỏ cháy" will be screened at the Hòa Liên Commune People's Committee; and at 7:00 PM on September 8th, the animated film "Anh hùng núi Tản" and the feature film "Đường xuyên rừng" will be screened in Hưởng Phước village, Hòa Liên commune.

According to the Da Nang City Cultural and Film Center, the film screening activities are an opportunity to educate about historical traditions, cultivate and promote patriotism, revolutionary heroism, solidarity, national pride, and self-reliance.

Through cinematic works, we aim to affirm the achievements of our Party and people in the struggle for national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland.
