Ms. Doan Thi Kieu said that before, even when it rained, water did not enter the house, but now, even though the house has been raised, water still enters when it rains, mud flows into the house, and we have to use a shovel to scoop it out little by little.

Pointing to his yard, which was still muddy, Mr. Ngo Quoc Phuong shared with SGGP reporters that when the city had a policy to build an industrial park, the people also agreed to support and accept the compensation of part of the land. During the construction of the project, despite the dust and noise, the people still tried to endure and hoped that the project would be completed, put into operation and contribute to the development of the local economy. But now... every time it rains, water and mud flow into the house, and we can't help but worry.

Regarding the cause, according to Mr. Ho Hai Nam, Director of the Cam Le District Construction Investment Project Management Board, the foundation of the Cam Le Industrial Cluster project is higher than the foundation of neighboring houses because the project foundation must be equal to the foundation of Hoa Cam Industrial Park to connect the infrastructure. The project is constructing the slope adjacent to the houses, the topsoil of the slope is new, not yet connected, so it flows down to the residential area every time it rains.

Mr. Nguyen Hai Duong, Vice Chairman of Cam Le District, proposed a solution: next week, the unit will start investing in culverts in alleys 5 and 7 to solve the problem for the western area. In the remaining areas, the unit will arrange forces to regularly dredge drainage ditches along the foot of the slope to minimize flooding into people's houses. In the long term, the relevant units will plant grass on the slope, and at the foot of the slope, concrete embankment walls and a fence system will be added to separate the residential area from the industrial area.
